Hunkemoller's Spring 2014 holds 29 pieces: 19 sets, nine bras and a single swimsuit. Our archive's image labels pick out one soft-cup bra and tag fabrics as jersey knit and chiffon, a pairing of a stretch knit with something sheer and light. That fits a spring assortment from a company that began as an Amsterdam corset maker in 1886 and later grew into a chain of more than 700 stores in 20 countries. Swim is only a footnote here.
