How the lingerie identifier works
Upload a photo of a bra, a pair of panties, a set, a bodysuit or swimwear. The identifier first finds the body and splits the photo into regions, so a bra and the briefs worn with it are read separately. Each region is classified by models trained on labelled lingerie photos, then compared with tens of thousands of pieces in our catalogue.
For every piece it reports the garment type and, when it is confident, the cut (a balconette rather than just a bra, a thong rather than just a brief), plus the fabric (lace, mesh, satin, microfiber and so on), the color and the overall style. Below the answer it shows visually similar pieces from our archive and the brands that make them.
The photo is also read by a vision model, which names each piece using the same terms as our encyclopedia; when it is unavailable, our own models give the answer alone. There is no account and no charge. A typical photo takes a few seconds.
The bra types it can tell apart
Each name links to the encyclopedia page that explains how to recognize that cut.

Fabrics and colors have their own pages too: see the lingerie fabrics and lingerie colors guides.
Getting a good result
The clearer the garment, the better the answer. A photo taken in daylight, with the whole piece in frame and nothing covering the cups or the waistband, works best. Worn photos and flat-lay photos on a bed or a table both work. Very dark photos, heavy filters and shots where the lingerie is mostly hidden under other clothes make the answer less reliable.
Some cuts are hard to tell apart in any photo, even for people: a demi cup and a balconette, or a cheeky brief and a Brazilian, differ by a few centimeters of coverage. When the model is not sure, it says only "bra" or "underwear" instead of guessing a cut. Our comparison guides, such as balconette vs demi cup, show the differences side by side.
What it does not do
It does not name the exact product or guarantee the brand: many brands make similar styles, so treat the similar pieces as a starting point. It does not recognize people and does not try to. And it does not accept nude or sexual images: a photo with exposed intimate parts is refused before it is analysed.
What happens to your photo
We keep uploaded photos on our server to measure and improve the identifier. They are not published or listed on the site. To read the garments, the photo is sent once to the vision model provider (NVIDIA) and nothing else about you goes with it. Refused images are never sent anywhere: they are stored separately where only the site administrator can see them.
