Clean Lines, Bold Confidence
Los Angeles Simplicity (2016)
Jade Swim was founded in 2016 in Los Angeles by Brittany Kozerski, a former fashion editor whose years in the industry had given her a precise understanding of what women wanted from swimwear — and how rarely the market delivered it. Kozerski saw an opportunity in the gap between overly embellished resort swimwear and basic mass-market bikinis: a space for swimwear defined by clean lines, premium construction, and quiet confidence.
The brand launched with a deliberately restrained collection: a handful of silhouettes in solid colors, each designed to flatter through cut and construction rather than through padding, embellishment, or optical illusions. The minimalism was the point — Jade Swim believed that the best swimwear was the kind that let the woman wearing it be the focus.
Design Discipline
Jade Swim maintained extraordinary design discipline. Collections expanded slowly, with each new silhouette earning its place through extensive fit testing and aesthetic evaluation. The brand resisted the temptation to chase trends, instead building a collection of timeless pieces that would remain relevant season after season.
Color strategy was equally deliberate. While seasonal drops introduced new shades, the brand's palette consistently favored sophisticated neutrals and muted tones over the bright saturated colors that dominated mainstream swimwear.
Premium Construction
Every Jade Swim piece was manufactured from premium Italian fabrics and constructed with attention to detail that elevated the product above its apparent simplicity. Invisible linings, precise seaming, and carefully engineered elastic created swimwear that maintained its shape through seasons of ocean and pool use.
The Modern Woman's Swimwear
Jade Swim built its identity around a specific customer: the woman who valued quality over quantity, simplicity over spectacle, and confidence over trend-following.
