In an era where the line between digital persona and tangible influence blurs with each scroll, GCDS has anointed its latest sovereign. Anna Malygon, the TikTok phenomenon commanding 7.7 million followers, takes center stage in the Italian brand's spring 2026 campaign, "The Modern Princess." The move solidifies a relationship that began with a dramatic flourish: Malygon closed the brand's Milan Fashion Week runway in a barely-there, sheer gown - a nod to the diaphanous layers that have flirted with lingerie aesthetics since the rise of the négligée in 1920s boudoir photography. The campaign, shot by Jumbo Tsui in a Los Angeles mansion, riffs on Malygon's own social media vignettes, which often feature her in a castle-like setting alongside her butler, Alfred - now a viral star in his own right. Here, she wears GCDS's signature irreverence: formfitting minidresses with Hello Kitty-shaped cups (a playful twist on the structured corsetry of the 1950s), animalier-print lingerie-inspired frocks, and the label's fang-shaped "Morso" heels. Short videos capture the chaotic charm, with Alfred comically announcing a GCDS shopping spree after a raise. Founder Giuliano Calza, whose brand has long embraced pop culture - from a 2018 campaign with Pamela Anderson to collaborations with Pepsi and Polly Pocket - sees Malygon as a contemporary fairy-tale heroine. "Her authenticity and confidence resonate with a new generation," he notes. In a fashion landscape increasingly shaped by digital narratives, Malygon is not just a face; she is the crown jewel of a modern, lingerie-tinged fantasy.
