Caramì was founded a decade ago by Florentine sisters Carlotta and Camilla Castrucci. The lingerie and lifestyle brand aims to make women feel comfortable and elegant in almost any setting, from workouts to beach days to lounging at home. Camilla leads product development and creative direction, while Carlotta manages brand strategy and communication. Both shared an early vision, in Camilla's words, of creating beautiful pieces women would genuinely enjoy wearing every day.
The label began with lingerie: soft triangle bralette sets and bodysuits in premium fabrics like velvet, lace, sequins, shimmering faux leather, and bouclé. Everything is made in small batches in Tuscany, with attention to soft-feel materials and ultra-flat seaming. Over time, Caramì expanded to include loungewear, swimwear, activewear, and a dedicated tennis apparel line. The designers emphasize versatility, with pieces like silk-blend velvet nightwear that works for dinner out, sparkling one-piece swimsuits at home in a club, and gym co-ords that double as streetwear. Camilla says each new category grew naturally from the original vision of versatile, beautifully crafted Made in Italy garments that move through everyday life.
One of the brand's newest and most successful additions is The Shared Edit, a genderless sleepwear collection. Made from linen, cotton, or silk, it features button-through pajama shirts and co-ordinated pieces in classic striped prints, all embroidered with the Caramì logo. The line is polished enough for the street yet comfortable enough for a nap. Camilla says the inspiration came from borrowing clothing from someone you love, reimagined through refined tailoring, premium Italian fabrics, and relaxed silhouettes that belong to a lifestyle rather than a gender. She adds that elegance, comfort, and quality are universal.
Caramì offers sizes XS to XL with no cup sizing. Lingerie separates start at €40 (about $45), while prices top out at €650 (roughly $750) for a pajama set in a viscose and silk-blend velvet.
