Florence Pugh wore a coordinated Rodarte look for the "East of Eden" photo call and Q&A at the British Library in London on Monday.
The Oscar-nominated actress selected an iridescent pleated blouse and pants from the American label's fall 2019 collection. Styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, the ensemble centered on a milky, opalescent blouse with a layered, tiered capelet collar. The semi-sheer fabric gave the long-sleeved piece a glossy, almost futuristic finish, while pleats ran through the high-waisted palazzo pants. A bold Rodarte logo belt served as the look's standout accessory.
Pugh added Bulgari tubogas earrings retailing for nearly $9,200, crafted in 18-karat yellow gold with pavé diamond studs. Stylist Hyungsun Ju created her slicked-back pompadour, and makeup artist Alex Babsky finished with bold brows, lined eyes and a soft lip.
The library setting echoed Rodarte's fall 2019 debut, held in February 2019 at the Huntington Library in San Marino, Calif. The collection drew on decades of Hollywood musicals.
Pugh stars as Cathy Ames alongside Christopher Abbott and Mike Faist in Zoe Kazan's seven-episode adaptation of John Steinbeck's "East of Eden," arriving Oct. 1 on Netflix.
