Miranda Kerr has explained why she turned down an invitation to return to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, saying the prospect left her anxious. In an interview on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch, the model said she had been asked back for the 2026 show but declined.
Kerr, 43 and a mother of four boys, said she was seriously considering the offer and felt excited at first, recalling her playful years as a VS Angel. But when she imagined herself on the runway in her underwear, she felt a knot in her stomach that meditation could not ease. She said the only way to resolve it was to decide not to do the show, and the knot released once she made up her mind.
She said walking for Victoria's Secret no longer felt expansive to her, and that she is at a different stage in life now. She called the invitation an honor and said she is humbled they would want her back.
The comments drew attention online, with opinion divided. Some questioned why being a mother of boys would matter, noting that many former Angels who walked the show are also mothers. Others defended Kerr, saying she should do whatever makes her comfortable.
Kerr walked in six Victoria's Secret shows from her 2006 debut through 2012, including appearances after welcoming her first son in 2011.
