Palace has unveiled its multi-story flagship at 8 Poland Street in London's West End, with the 2,700-square-foot Soho space set to open to the public on Thursday. The brand's original Brewer Street location closed on Sept. 21.
The new store draws on Palace's own history and the city's architectural heritage, taking cues from the nearby British Museum and the stained glass of British churches. Archival photographs and references to the original shop are treated like museum exhibits. Inside, concrete, steel, oak paneling and parquet flooring set a minimal modern tone, with white walls and P-shaped marble tiles echoing materials from the original store.
Objects tied to Palace's past are incorporated into the design, including a triangle-shaped oak bench and stool, Victoria benches referencing Manor Place - the brand's experiential space in South London with Nike - and a Rolls-Royce grille from the old Brewer Street store. A bespoke door handle shaped like an infinite loop doubles as the brand's door number.
As previously reported, Palace will release a super-limited, store-only 10-piece capsule collection with Burberry, including a honey-beige Camden car coat printed with artwork inspired by the British countryside and a cashmere Burberry check scarf featuring Palace branding, alongside a hooded jacket, shirts, T-shirts, a cap, shorts, a skateboard in house check and a polo embroidered with a Poland Street graphic. The store will also offer a London-exclusive collection embossed with the number eight, a nod to the address and the brand's triangle logo.
The opening follows a steady global rollout: in 2026 alone, Palace opened its first Hong Kong store in Causeway Bay, its first mainland China store in Shanghai's Zhangyuan compound and its first permanent Southeast Asian flagship in Singapore. It also expanded in South Korea with a 1,500-square-foot flagship on the first floor of Lotte World Mall in Songpa District.
