As the Mediterranean sun beats down on Sardinia’s rugged coastline, the Due Lune Puntaldia Resort & Golf retreat enters its busiest season. Yet its retail arm, Caraluna—a concept store launched last year by Carolina Fumagalli—is proving equally restless, orchestrating a series of collaborations that echo the intimate, artisanal spirit of the island itself.

The first partnership, a capsule with Luisa Beccaria launching Friday, offers flowy silhouettes and beach separates in poppy prints and sun-drenched stripes. Beccaria, a house known for its ethereal femininity since its founding in the 1980s, has increasingly turned to hospitality and interiors—a natural fit for Caraluna, which Fumagalli describes as “a natural and carefree elegance” mirroring her family’s resort.

From June 5 to 7, Cabana—the jet-set lifestyle brand cofounded by Martina Mondadori, celebrated for its eclectic, global aesthetic—will stage a takeover, bringing home collections and exclusive vases by Teresa Maccapani Missoni, handcrafted by Sardinian artisans. In July, footwear label Ilio Smeraldo presents a flat sandal adorned with a rose motif, followed by events with Patrizia Marras and the sun-protective skinwear line Recreative Sun.

Fumagalli’s curatorial eye favors women-led businesses, sustainable craftsmanship, and Made in Italy fabrics—a philosophy rooted in her grandfather’s vision of Due Lune as a seaside villa for unhurried gatherings. “Our collaborations happen organically,” she says, “never forced.”

Caraluna’s selection—spanning ready-to-wear, vintage finds, and local handicrafts—is overseen with Eva Géraldine Fontanelli, while Maccapani Missoni scouts vintage treasures. With pop-ups in Milan and Corvara, and an upcoming U.S. location, Fumagalli is quietly weaving a global network from Sardinia’s shores—one that honors lingerie’s own history of intimate, feminine craft through light, airy layers and hand-finished details.
