Ports 1961 is bringing back old-school glamour for fall with a campaign starring German supermodel Nadja Auermann, shot by British photographer Rankin. The black-and-white and color images follow Auermann as a chic, globe-trotting diva, capturing her life on the move.

"I have spent a large part of my life traveling, moving between cities, hotels and countries. Those places can feel temporary, but they also create moments of reflection," Auermann said. "When you step away from your everyday surroundings, you often see yourself more clearly. Sometimes movement helps you come home to yourself." The campaign echoes the nomadic spirit of the fall 2026 collection, rooted in the brand's original ethos. Founder Luke Tanabe once said, "I dream of having breakfast in the Sahara and dinner in New York." In one shot, Auermann steps out of a vintage convertible in a dramatic coat with a scarf pinned by a silver brooch. In others, she studies her reflection in a mirror, adjusts a gray double-breasted blazer, or preps in cocktail attire with elbow-length gloves inside a hotel room.

"Those moments are often the most authentic," she added. "When we are waiting or preparing to leave, we are not focused on performing. We are simply present with ourselves." Auermann, a longtime muse to Karl Lagerfeld and Helmut Newton, first connected with Ports 1961 and design director Francesco Bertolini in February at Milan Fashion Week. The label, now a full-fledged luxury womenswear line, operates flagship stores in Milan, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Bertolini took the design director role in 2024, five years after joining the brand.
