Flora Nikrooz

Bridal nightwear specialist

The go-to name in bridal nightwear. Showstopper robes and honeymoon lingerie for over 40 years.

The Queen of Bridal Nightwear

A Persian-American Vision (1982)

Flora Nikrooz was founded in 1982 in New York by its namesake designer, an Iranian-American woman who saw an underserved opportunity in the bridal market. While bridal fashion focused obsessively on the dress, veil, and accessories, virtually no designer was paying attention to what the bride would wear after the ceremony — the robes for getting ready, the nightwear for the wedding night, the honeymoon lingerie.

Nikrooz filled this void with a line that treated bridal nightwear with the same design ambition and craftsmanship as the wedding gown itself. Her pieces featured exquisite lace, silk charmeuse, and delicate embroidery — materials and techniques that matched the quality of couture bridal fashion.

The Getting-Ready Moment

Flora Nikrooz understood, before most of the industry, that the bridal experience extended far beyond the ceremony. The "getting ready" moment — when the bride and her party dress together — had become one of the most photographed moments of any wedding. Nikrooz's robes and matching sets were designed for this moment: beautiful enough for photographs, comfortable enough for hours of preparation.

Showstopper Robes

The Flora Nikrooz robe became a bridal industry icon. Crafted from French lace, silk charmeuse, and tulle, these robes were designed to make the bride feel extraordinary from the moment she started dressing. The brand's "Showstopper" robe — a dramatic lace piece with a sweep train — became one of the most recognized bridal accessories in the industry.

Legacy

For over four decades, Flora Nikrooz has maintained its position as the definitive name in bridal nightwear. The brand's pieces have been featured in virtually every bridal publication and worn by brides at every scale of celebration.
