A nursing bra has cups that can be opened independently — typically by unclipping the strap at the cup's top corner and folding the cup down — so the wearer can breastfeed without removing the entire bra. Nursing bras are usually wireless or flexi-wire, with extra side panels for fluctuating breast size during lactation.
Most nursing bras also serve as maternity bras and vice versa.
