Pink is the default fashion color of lingerie. After the neutrals, it is usually the first color a brand adds to a style, in candy, rose, bubblegum or orchid. Medium pink sits between pale blush and vivid fuchsia, and that middle position makes it the label the classifier reaches for most often among the pinks.
Pink holds well on nylon lace and microfiber, and it is one of the few colors that look good in both cotton basics and high-end lace. Contrast trim is common: pink with black lace or a black bow, or pink with white piping.
Under white clothes pink shows less than red but more than nude. The classifier confuses it with blush when the shade is pale, with coral when it is warm, and with dusty rose when it is muted.
