A demi cup bra covers roughly the lower half of the breast — slightly less than a balconette, slightly more than a bikini-style bra. The cups are rounded at the top (not horizontal like balconette) and the straps attach toward the outer cup.
The demi is sometimes called a half-cup and is the middle ground between full coverage and plunge styles.
How to Identify
- Rounded (not horizontal) upper cup edge
- Covers roughly the lower half of the breast
- Straps set outward but not as wide as balconette
- Usually underwired
