Eres 2027 is being shaped by Winter 2026, the five-line collection the Paris swimwear and lingerie house, founded in 1968 by Irene Leroux and owned by Chanel since 1996, put on sale this year. The lines run from sculpted swimsuits to ivory silk lingerie, and the press spent the summer of 2026 looking back at the swimsuits that made the name. Here is what the brand and the press published from July to October 2026.
Five lines for Winter 2026
The brand's Winter 2026 page sets out five stories, each with a one-line brief.
- The Muse: swimwear with sculptural cut-outs in a soft, light, second-skin fabric.
- Porcelaine: lingerie inspired by vintage fine lingerie, in embroidered tulle and silk crepe, in shades of ivory.
- Ferrure: a reworking of one of the house signatures, the ferrure, here shaped as a V.
- Loulou: polka dots with pops of color, described as an homage to the boldness of the 1980s.
- Jardin: geometric lace with a botanical feel, including a set in a beige the brand calls ganache.
Porcelaine is the most unusual. Eres made its name on plain, perfectly cut swimsuits, and an ivory line of embroidered tulle and silk crepe is about as far from that as the house goes. Loulou's dots point the other way, toward playful prints the brand rarely leads with.
Eres 2027 and the Muse cut-outs
The Muse line is where Eres is putting its weight. The brand lists it under new arrivals, in Noir and a red-orange called Piment, with an Ines halter-neck top, a Mounia V-neck one-piece, a Connie one-shoulder crop top and Nicole classic briefs. Cut-outs in a swimsuit are only as good as the fabric around them, and the brand's description, a light second-skin material that contours the body, is the point of the line. No Spring/Summer 2027 collection had been shown in the sources we checked by mid-October 2026, so this is the most recent swim statement on record.
Lingerie without the scaffolding
The lingerie side of the site carries a short manifesto: "no padding, no underwire, no artifice." It describes exclusive French lace and microfiber developed for the house, and the current range reads like a vocabulary list, with Pampille demi-cups in Sirop, Chocolat blanc and Arbousier, Pergola high-waisted briefs, Fraicheur triangle bras, Porte-bonheur and Talentueuse bodysuits and Melodie briefs.
That approach, light structure with the cut doing the work, comes straight from the swimwear, and it is the reason Eres lingerie looks different from the push-up tradition of many French houses.
The summer press: Icone, Aquarelle and Lynda
On 30 July 2026 Harper's Bazaar France ran a long piece on the Eres swimsuit as a holiday constant. It retold the house story: a family business from before the war near La Madeleine in Paris, revived by Irene Leroux in 1968 with swimwear that dropped the boning and rigid structure of the time. It credited the brand's Peau Douce fabric, introduced in the 1990s, and listed the models that have lasted: Icone from 1982, a thin-strapped one-piece in ribbed cotton jersey, Cassiopee, Show and Aquarelle from 2009.
The article also gave a detail worth keeping: every new design is tried on and tested by people in the studio before it goes out. Bazaar named Marie-Paule Minchelli as the person leading Eres, working from the 19M studio in Paris.
W Magazine's summer 2026 swim edit, updated on 20 July 2026, picked two Eres pieces: the Aquarelle one-piece and the Lynda, a bead-embellished swimsuit. One is a seventeen-year-old shape, the other an evening piece for the beach, which is roughly how Eres sells: a back catalog that keeps working, plus a few pieces each season that do not need to.
What has not changed
The Eres brand page has the full history. For now, the house is doing what it has done since 1968, only with more lace: a sculpted black swimsuit at the front, and behind it an ivory tulle line that would not have fit the Eres of twenty years ago.
